I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT I AM UNABLE TO PHOTOGRAPH ANYONE.
I AM IN CONSISTENT A-FIB AND CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE. THEY TOOK ME OFF OF MY BLOOD THINNER FOR 2 DAYS AND TRIED UNSUCCESSFULLY, IN 2020 TO DO AN ABLATION TO GET ME OUT OF A-FIB… IT FAILED AND THEY SENT ME HOME…
THAT NIGHT I HAD A STROKE. (LONG STORY) IT HAS LEFT ME WITH SERIOUS TREMORS, TROUBLE STANDING FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, AT TIMES WALKING IS TOUGH, MEMORY ISSUES, SOME BRAIN FOG AND OTHER ISSUES.
A YEAR LATER I CAUGHT (LONG TERM) COVID WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL WHEN THEY UNSUCCESSFULLY ATTEMPTED TO DO THE WATCHMAN IMPLANT… ‘TO BE SAFE’ ADMITTED ME TO THE HOSPITAL. SINCE THEN I NEED PORTABLE OXYGEN WHEN I TRY TO DO ANYTHING STRENUOUS.
MARCH 13, 2024 THEY HAD TO DO SURGERY TO REMOVE MERKEL CEL CANCER FROM MY LEFT FOREARM AND SOME LYMPH NODES UNDER MY LEFT ARM. IT WAS A MESS BECAUSE THEY HAD TO DIG DEEP (TO THE BONE) AND COULD NOT TAKE ME OFF OF THE BLOOD THINNERS. THE DOCTORS ARE HOPING THAT IT DOESN’T COME BACK IN ANOTHER PART OF MY BODY LIKE IT DID IN JIMMY BUFFET, AS WELL AS OTHERS.
I WILL INFORM EVERYONE VIA THIS PAGE AND FACEBOOK IF I AM EVER ABLE TO WORK AGAIN…
BUT AFTER OVER 5 YEARS IT DOESN’T LOOK PROMISING…
I AM EMBARRASSED TO ASK BUT BETWEEN MY STROKE, THE SEVERE COVID ISSUES AND MY RECENT MERKEL CEL CANCER SURGERY, AS WELL AS ALL OF MY OTHER ON-GOING HEALTH ISSUES I AM becoming FINANCIALLY DESPERATE.

Two things that you never want to hear from a Casting Director: 1)” Is that you?
Your Headshot doesn’t look like you.” 2) “Was that Headshot taken 10 years ago? Your headshot should accurately sell the actor, not a background…not a chair… not clothing or jewelry!!! A background should enhance you not take over the image."
Note: "If you are trying to fool anyone with your auditioning headshot, you are only fooling yourself...
"I never tried to be 'different or artsy' at the expense of the actor."
"When your headshot gets you selected for the audition that is what made me look good."
"As you look at my work please note that it is not about ‘the… poses’, although there is a variety, it is about a Casting Director looking at the headshot and seeing an actor who can handle acting. It is about YOU...The Actor."
Note: Auditioning headshots are different than publicity or glamour headshots...
Please do not cut a picture out of a magazine, take it to a photographer and say, ‘I want this.’ Big mistake!
